He is said to be fed up of covering them up for love scenes.

The Jersey Girl star is sick of enduring hours of heavy make-up to conceal his body art every time a script calls for him to expose some flesh.

The 31-year-old said: "I'm sorry now of having my tattoos done."

Most of the Hollywood star's tattoos are so large that they would need to be sliced out of the skin which would leave a visible scar, reports the website, teenhollywood.com.
