Petite Kylie Minogue missed out on a part in Lord of the Rings - because she is too small.
Kylie: Auditioned for role
Director Peter Jackson reckoned the pop star did not measure up.
Shewanted to play the part of elf queen Galadriel.
But she lost out to fellow Aussie Cate Blanchett, who at 5' 9" is nine inches taller.
That is according to Elijah Wood who played hobbit Frodo Baggins.
He told chat show host Graham Norton: "Kylie Minogue auditioned for Galadriel.
"I think Peter Jackson still has her on tape. She is probably a bit too short for an elf."
In the film, the elves are tall and slim - unlike the hobbits, who are the size of children.
Norton has revealed he tried for the part of Frodo's loyal companion, Sam.
But he admitted: "I was rubbish."
