A wedding scene between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in their new movie has reportedly been cut - because of fears it could be confused with real life.
The footage has been scrapped from director Kevin Smith's forthcoming film Jersey Girl, according to US Weekly magazine.
Film wedding 'confusing'
It quotes Smith as saying: "I didn't know if it was right to leave it in.
"People might forget they're watching a picture."
Affleck and Lopez were supposed to have married last September after months of speculation about their on-off, on-off relationship.
But they called off their lavish plans, blaming "excessive media attention surrounding our wedding" and have since ended their engagement.
Jersey Girl is set for release on March 26.
