The raunchy hit TV show Sex And The City is to become a film.

The final scenes of the TV series may have been filmed in New York, but insiders say the four main stars will soon be reunited to film the movie.

Sarah Jessica Parker, who stars with Kristen Davis, Cynthia Nixon and Kim Cattrall, had earlier hinted that a reunion was on the cards.

She said "It is the last season - but that doesn't mean it's the last you'll see of us".
