Meg:
But the 42-year-old actress, who was talking to Parkinson to promote her new film In The Cut, now says she was in the right.
The actress said: "I felt he was hostile from the start. And that's my opinion about him."
She told the Daily Mirror: "It would be interesting to see it. I was really surprised by him.
"It was a very surprising day. I felt that he confused my In The Cut character with who I was - that's the most generous thing I can say about him."
Ryan has been single following the break-up of her marriage to former co-star Dennis Quaid.
She said: "He was calling me bruised and wary and I was like, 'You know, man, I'm a guest on your show and I'm here to talk to you'.".
When 68-year-old Parkinson asked the Hollywood actress what she would do if she was conducting the interview, she replied "wrap it up".
Parkinson said that the November interview had been a "challenge", and added: "I don't think she understood what was going on."
