Angels Fly Into London
The stars of Charlie's Angels sent fans into a frenzy of delight as they turned up at the UK premiere of their new movie.
Cameron Diaz, Lucy Liu and Drew Barrymore jetted into London as part of their whistle-stop promotional tour of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.
They spent just an hour at the event - missing the film's screening and a lavish party thrown in their honour - before hopping on another plane and heading for the Spanish premiere.
But the glamorous trio still made time for a half-hour walkabout to greet the 4,000 screaming fans who had packed Leicester Square.
"This is mind-blowing," said Barrymore, clearly stunned by the size of the crowd. "It's amazing there are so many people here."
Stunning
Diaz agreed: "This is my first London Premiere and I just love it."
The girls' hectic schedule has already taken in premieres in Los Angeles, New York, Mexico, Sydney and Paris.
Their flying visit to London lasted less than 24 hours before they headed for Madrid, to be followed by appearances in Rome and Munich.
But the three stunning beauties showed no sign of exhaustion from their non-stop travelling.
Filthy look
Diaz, 30, and Barrymore, 28, chose outfits by British designers in honour of the occasion.
Diaz wore a black and gold strapless dress by Vivienne Westwood, along with her favourite trilby, while Barrymore wore a black satin trouser suit by Alexander McQueen.
Liu looked dazzling in a floor-length blue chiffon gown by Ungaro.
The traditional red carpet was replaced by a pink one for the premiere and palm trees planted outside the cinema completed the scene.
The girls' angelic demeanour slipped only once - when Diaz was asked about her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
Diaz is said to be dating the pop star but when quizzed about it, she shot the interviewer a filthy look and the trio turned on their heels and moved on.
Other stars at the premiere included Beyonce Knowles, Kirsten Dunst, Lucy Rusedski and comedian Johnny Vegas, accompanying pregnant wife Kitty.
