England football hero David Beckham will go from Beckingham Palace to Buckingham Palace to be awarded the OBE.
He is expected to be given the title in the Queen's birthday honours list later this month as speculation grows over his future at Manchester United.
Becks to pick up OBE
Beckham is rumoured to be leaving Old Trafford and heading to Spanish giants Barcelona.
The England captain will be amongst fellow soccer names when he collects his gong at Buckingham Palace.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger and Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier are also being given honorary OBEs.
Cricket star Alec Stewart will pick up an OBE for helping the revival of England's fortunes in recent years.
The Surrey all-rounder has just become the second-highest England test run scorer in history after leap-frogging David Gower.
