Eurovision flops Jemini have told Sky News they CAN sing - and blamed technical problems for the night they made history by scoring nil points.
The Scouse duo said monitors on stage were not working properly and they could not hear themselves sing.
Gemini: We can sing
They became the first Britons to fail to score a single point in the Eurovision Song Contest - but insisted they did their best.
Their performance of song Cry Baby - watched by TV viewers across the continent - was panned by critics who described it as terrible and out of tune.
But despite their humiliation, Chris Cromby and Gemma Abbey have released the song as asingle and are hopeful it will be a hit.
After flying home from the contest in Latvia, Gemma, 20, said: "We could hear the music but couldn't hear what we were singing.
"I was basically taking a guess and just carrying on singing with a smile on my face, hoping it was OK.
"We have got to be positive. We know we can sing live and have just got to carry on."
Chris, 21, added: "There were problems with the monitors and people who haven't heard us before are judging us by that performance.
"We don't think it was fair that we got no votes and came last. It's quite laughable that we didn't get anything whatsoever. We think it's slightly ridiculous.
"It was a bit disheartening but we did our best. We are just glad to be back home now."
