The movie debut of Britney Spears has been voted the worst film of 2002 in big screen turkey awards the Naftas.
The US pop starlet was way ahead of her nearest rival with the coming-of-age road movie Crossroads.
Britney film 'cringeworthy'
Runner-up in the poll of thousands of listeners to Daryl Denham's drivetime show on Virgin Radio was Ali G In Da House.
The Naftas, now in their second year, come ahead of the UK's biggest movie awards, the Baftas, next Sunday.
Men In Black II was ranked third worst film of the year. And two of 2002's top fantasy hits - Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets and Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers - failed to bewitch viewers, ending up in sixth and seventh places.
Denham said: "The Naftas celebrate the worst, the most awful, the most dreadful films of the past year and listeners thought Crossroads was the most cringeworthy film they had the misfortune to sit through."
Denham is hoping to hand over a trophy to Spears featuring a screen with a boot through it.
