Stunning Spanish actress Penelope Cruz and Hollywood favourite Christian Slater have attended the low-key premiere of their latest film.
They went to the viewing of Masked and Anonymous at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.
Cruz and Slater at Premiere
The festival is traditionally the sneak preview venue for American independent films.
And this year was no exception -Slater had not even seen the film himself.
Speaking on his arrival, he said: "I'm looking forward to seeing what they've done and how they've put it together.
"Working with all these people on something like this... it's such a thrill."
Penelope and Christian star in the political satire along with an unusual but fantastic cast, including Bob Dylan, John Goodman and Jeff Bridges.
Cruz said: "My character is one that I really understand and touched my heart.
"All the characters in the movie wear masks.
"With the mask she is wearing, she tries to hide the fears she has about other people's suffering.
"She tries to protect her boyfriend with rituals and superstitions, so it's a very compulsive way to live.
"It's a character that makes me feel things inside, so I had no doubts that I wanted to do this."
