- It's been a tough year for stunning blonde actress Amanda Holden.

Jason: Eclipsing Kylie?

The star of hit show Cutting It recently split from hubby Les Dennis.

Now she is now set to star in the same show that featured Les over two years ago - Chicago.

The hit musical, showing at London's Adelphi Theatre, is buzzing with the news that Amanda is the latest signing to take on the role of Roxie Hart.

This role was made famous on both Broadway and the West End by another showbiz stunner, Denise Van Outen.

Amanda has made no secret of her desire to showcase her versatile singing and dancing talents.

As one source revealed: "She's box office Dynamite."

Les played the role of Mr Cellophane in the musical to great acclaim, astounding critics and fans alike.

Shame that they both could not have starred in the show together, eh?

- Jason Donovan and Kylie hit the number one spot over 14 years ago with their sweet duet Especially For You.

Fast forward to 2003 and who would have thought that it would be Jason and not Kylie that is about to make it big in LA?

Jason is currently back on top over in Oz thanks to his new hit police drama MDA.

Now a major US channel has decided to buy the hard-hitting drama and show it later this summer, making Jason a Hollywood A-lister.

One insider told me: "This could be the making of Jason when all the money has always been on Kylie."

Now Kylie, it's over to you!

- Christina Aguilera - the whippet thin blonde singer with an aversion to clothes - is about to team up with Latin superstar Ricky Martin.

My spies reveal that Christina, who hit the top spot earlier this year with the raunchy track Dirrty, has told her people to "get him".

This is not the first time that the twosome have teamed up.

But could her latest assault on Ricky be the fact that he had also been propositioned by her arch rival Britney Spears? It would appear so.

But you'll have to wait until the summer for what is bound to be yet another explosive video starring Ricky and Christina in some state of undress!

- What's a girl to do when she's been stuck in the jungle with Tara Palmer Tompkinson and hand-wandering Uri Geller?

Well in the case of model Nell McAndrew she is planning to get this off her chest by making a move into the world of pop music.

We can reveal that Leeds girl Nell has recorded a full album with ex-Babylon Zoo frontman Jas Mann.

He of course hit number one in the mid-90s with his track Spaceman.

Nell told me: "It's not your typical model-turned-popstar music - there's a bit of depth there.

"I can't wait to get out there and perform it on Top of the Pops."

Nell plans to release her first single in the spring.

- 'Love Me for a Reason', trilled all the members of Boyzone in 1995.

Eight years later it appears there is no love lost between them at all.

Shane Lynch has gone one step further and signed a deal with Virgin to write a kiss and tell book about his time with the chart-topping band.

The sad news is the book has been delayed.

It would appear that the lawyers are finding it hard to "clean up" the book from any problems that may occur in the courts.

What can it all mean?

As one source told me: "When this book comes out both Ronan Keating and band manager Louis Walsh may want to run for cover."
