Britney Spears has said she still loves her ex-boyfriend.

The blonde singer told of her heartache following her split from Justin Timberlake.

NSYNC singer Justin was the first to admit he still held a candle for Britney after they split.

Then the pop superstar followed suit.

She told The Sun: "I'm touched he loves me.

"A part of me will always love him because he was my first love."

Justin, 21, broke up with his long-term girlfriend as they pursue their music careers.

Timberlake is now going out with 30-year-old actress Alyssa Milano.

He said of Britney: "I may not ever get over her. She has a beautiful heart."
