Scooby Doo has shot straight to the top of the UK box office charts.
The movie, based on the cartoon series, took £3.3m over the weekend.
With previous weekend previews of £1.9m added in, the film actually opened with £5.1m.
This makes it Warner Bros' second-highest UK opening of all-time behind Harry Potter And The Philosopher's Stone which generated £16m.
Minority Report dropped to second place with £2.4m, according to figures from www.screendaily.com
Resident Evil opened in third place with £801,000, followed by Spider-Man at four, and Bollywood film Devdas at number five.
