Tennis glamour girl Anna Kournikova has quit her TV presenting job after a series of on-screen blunders.
The popular pin-up had been hired as a roving reporter during the US Open but floundered during on-air interviews, often having to be prompted.
Anna wasn't a hit on TV
Kournikova, who wore a micro-mini, red bra and fur-trimmed boots for her TV work, was also constantly mobbed by fans.
She told TV bosses she would not return for the second week of the US Open, the Daily Star reporting that she felt "uncomfortable" in her reporting role and was "eating too much".
The Russian beauty, who is currently side-lined with a back injury, was savaged by American TV critics.
"Anna's TV gig makes her tennis look good," the New York Post claimed.
"Kournikova isn't much more of a journalist than she is a tennis player."
However, the USA Network defended her on-air performance: "She is generating loads of excitement around the grounds in rock star proportions," a spokesman said.
