Former Big Breakfast host Kelly Brook has landed a starring role in hit US TV show Sex And The City.

The one time bra model will reportedly earn £100,000 for appearing in several episodes of the comedy which centres on the highs, lows and libidos of four upwardly mobile New York women.

New role for Kelly

She will play the sexy but devious relative of clean-cut Charlotte, actress Kristin Davis.

Kelly caught the eye of programme makers who thought she looked like Davis.

The new role is Brook's second on US TV.

She played Lex Luther's girlfriend in Smallville, the story of Superman's high school years.


The 22-year-old's career now seems firmly back on track after her six-month stint as Johnny Vaughan's side kick on The Big Breakfast.

The programme's editors finally dumped the busty brunette after the show's ratings plummeted.

Not only did Kelly lack the quick wit to retort to Vaughan's jibes but she reportedly had problems reading long words from the autocue. It is claimed writers were told to use only short words in her scripts.
