Kerry Katona is having acting lessons and plans to take on Hollywood next year. She has already filmed a part as a sixties singer, in an Irish TV movie called Showgirls, but now wants some "gritty" and "real-to-life" roles.

"Hollywood is in my sights," she confirmed. But don't think our Kerry will disappear over to the other side of the pond altogether; she'd come running if the call came through from Coronation Street. "I'd love to play a worker in the factory," she said. "I think I could really take to that." Me too.
