Jolie Vows To Visit Asia
Stunning Angelina Jolie stole the show as she added some much-needed glamour at the UK premiere of Oliver Stone's £80m epic Alexander.
But the caring beauty chose the event to talk about the tsunami disaster in south-east Asia - and vowed to visit the devastated area.
Jolie wowed the crowds in a stunning Valentino fitted long black coat with white trim and black skirt.
The UN goodwill ambassador praised the UK's response to the tsunami disaster, but added: "We mustn't lose sight of all the other problems around the world.
"There are still wars and conflicts going on in Iraq, Afghanistan and Darfur."
And when asked if she planned to visit the countries hit by the earthquake, she said: "I'm hoping to go to Sri Lanka in the next two or three months, whenever I can."
Jolie plays the mother of Alexander, played by Colin Farrell in the movie, which has been panned by critics.
The actress has denied rumours that she and Farrell became lovers after working on the film - although when her Irish co-star was asked about his perfect woman, he said: "Angelina is pretty close, to be honest with you."
Farrell in particular has been mauled by the critics for his performance of Alexander, who is portrayed as homosexual.
But director Oliver Stone defended Farrell, claiming he was "extraordinary".
