But is Anna Kournikova suffering from an eating disorder?
A back injury stopped Anna, 25, from continuing her tennis at a professional level - but she hasn't retired from the limelight.
Instead, as the girlfriend of Enrique Iglesias, she's frequently seen on the celebrity curcuit - as well as doing a spot of charity work.
But it's her appearance on red carpets in glamorous dresses looking very thin, that have started tongues wagging.
However, Anna has hit back at claims that she's starving herself, insisting that she has lost bulk because she isn't training so intensely anymore.
The Russian star told Elle magazine: "I'm naturally long, lean, and lanky.
"When I was playing tennis on the professional circuit, my body completely changed.
"For nearly 15 years, I spent six hours a day on the court.
"Now, almost three years have passed, and my body has changed again."
