Gwynnie Sings Pop

Not content with being an Oscar-winning actress, Gwyneth Paltrow is taking her career in a new direction.

She's going into Orbit with a bit of warbling and she's taking it pretty seriously.

Since giving birth to Moses in April, Gwynnie's found that making music helps her relax and she's got a great mentor - but it's not her Coldplay hubby, Chris Martin.

She's been toning her tonsils with the man who put the Ray Of Light back into Madonna, William Orbit.

The pair bumped into each other and Gwynnie told him she'd like to try her hand at recording, so they got it together.

According to The Sun, William told a pal: "We've already done a track which will make a brilliant first single."

And the source added that the tunes are working out so well they are talking about releasing it.

It's not the first time Gwyneth's been at the mic.

She sang in the karaoke-themed flick Duets, which was directed and produced by her late dad, Bruce.

Two of the songs she sang in the movie, Bette Davis Eyes and Just My Imagination, appear on the soundtrack.
