Is Nat Back With Her Ex?

Natalie Portman A while back there were rumblings that actress Natalie Portman had hooked up with Jake Gyllenhaal.

Of course, it turned out that they were "just good friends" and, with the latest whispers we've heard, it's a good job too.

There's no official word, but there have been whispers that one very attractive Hollywood couple could be re-united.

Elfin Natalie is said to have rekindled the flame of love with her ex-boyfriend, Mexican movie hotty Gael Garcia Bernal.

The couple broke up in 2004 after a short relationship but friends are hoping that something more permanent could be on the cards, following a flurry of dates.

Gael Garcia BernalOne friend told In Touch magazine: "They really love each other. They had hit a point in their relationship where it just couldn't go anywhere else and they just needed some time apart."

Rumours of a possible reconciliation also popped up in November 2005.

A Daily Mirror source, who spotted the pair at a London party, said: "They were dancing very closely and canoodling like a couple - everyone in the room thought they were an item."

So, could it be love the second time around for Natalie and Gael?

We'll have to wait and see.
