We'd heard the rumours about heavily-preggers Katie Holmes and silent labour.
But we had no idea how strictly she'd have to stick to it.
Fiance Tom Cruise is a member of the Scientology religion, which advises silence during birth - even by medical staff - for the benefit of mother and child.
According to The Sun, Katie will be hard-pushed to forget that fact in the days before she's due to go into labour, thanks to huge posters at the Beverly Hills mansion she shares with fiance Tom Cruise.
The newspaper reports that friends were spotted delivering 6ft-high 'birthing boards' to their home, where it's thought Katie, 26, will be delivering her baby.
One board read: "Be silent and make all physical movements slow and understandable."
