Fashion has no mercy, as Liz Hurley has reminded us each week in Project Catwalk.
But it's been good to one person. The winner of the Sky One show has been announced...
Liverpool fashion student Kirsty Doyle was crowned winner after her twelve-piece collection wowed the crowds (and judges) at London Fashion Week.
She beat finalists Matthew Bowkett and Debi Walker with a range inspired by rich jewel colours from Morocco.
Talking to Sky News, Kirsty said she was thrilled and was all set to launch her own range:
"I'm going to try and go for it on my own - Kirsty Doyle. I've got this far by myself."
When asked about working with Liz Hurley, Kirsty said:
"She's really nice. She's amazing. I was so star-struck, she's so beautiful."
Kirsty's prize includes £20,000, a mentorship with the Topshop design team and a spread in Elle Magazine.
