The fella we've all been lining up for her has spoken out about his thoughts on marriage...

And let's just say Vince Vaughn doesn't sound like he's itching to don a morning suit and mull over invitation colour-schemes.

"To date, I've lived a selfish lifestyle and never considered marriage," Vince tells Now magazine.

"And there have been long periods when I just didn't have a girlfriend. Some people might find that hard to accept but I've never dated a girl just for the sake of it."

Well, that sounds a bit more promising... doesn't it?

Vince and Jen on the set of The Break-UpVince was talking ahead of the release of his new film The Break Up - yep, the one co-starring Jen and the one which set rumours going of a real-life romance between the pair.

And although neither of them have confirmed their relationship - or in fact talked directly about it - Vince seems keen to pour cold water on the gossip.

"I don't have the time to fully commit to anyone at the moment," he adds. "But I'll know when the time's right to do so."

Maybe it's the added fame such a high-profile relationship can generate that has got Vince sweating.

"I'm not a starry sort of guy," he tells the magazine. "I get excited by the work and the acting rather than being well-known."

We, meanwhile, must curb our excitement over potential celeb weddings. Hurumph.
