Practically every week there are rumours that Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's marriage is wobbling.
And almost as frequently, either one of them denies the chit-chat.
But now Jessica's dad and manager, Joe, has waded into the fray and dismissed the break-up reports with a portion of sarcasm.
"They're still together..." he says.
"They just got back from Italy, where they were taking their anniversary vacation; they spent time together and they had a romantic dinner.
"Nick rented some museum place and had an orchestra and had an opera singer sing and they had a candlelight dinner.
"Sounds like a divorce to me..."
The couple have been married for 2 years and had their own reality TV show called Newlyweds: Nick And Jessica.
