Ex-Steps singer Lisa Scott-Lee has eaten her words.
She had vowed to give up her pop career if her new single didn't reach the Top Ten.
But with Electric struggling at No.13, it seems she's had a little review of her self-imposed challenge.
"Of course I regret saying it," she told The Sun,
"A year ago I was feeling low about the industry. My last single, Get It On, only got to No. 23.
"Then I signed up for MTV reality show Totally Scott-Lee.
"To give it some narrative I said I'd quit if I failed to go Top Ten.
"But it's awful now it's happened. I'm going to launch it in Australia, Japan and Germany - but I'll back."
Lisa needn't feel so low about her inspired 'narrative' brainwave.
There are other former girl band members who are having trouble keeping on top of the charts after going solo.
Ex-Atomic Kitten Jenny Frost went in at a lowly No. 47 with Crash Landing...
We're saying nothing... and Former S Club star Rachel Stevens failed to make the Top Ten with her latest single I Said Never Again - something poor Lisa wishes she'd never said.
