Brad Opts For Village Life

Good old Blighty, it really does seem to be a magnet for A-list Hollywood stars.

But the latest fan of English village life has more than one reason for settling on the east side of the Atlantic.

Most poignantly, his new best buddy Angelina Jolie is also a recent buyer of an English country house.

She and adopted son Maddox have a mansion in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire, where she and Brad have recently been hanging out.

And clearly Brad has loved his time in the UK countryside, and must love the British climate so much (!) that he has now bought his own pad... just around the corner.

Closer magazine quotes a source as saying: "Brad has been itching to buy a place near Angelina's for months.

"He spent ages shopping around and eventually found the right property in Penn. The locals have all been helping him out and he's even started to decorate the pad.

"The entire area is talking about Brad moving in. The pubs are all hoping he'll pop in for a drink, and the local Sainsbury's in Beaconsfield is packed with schoolgirls hoping to spot their dream man."

The magazine also reveals that Brad and Ange have already been spotted at the local supermarket... but Brad left Ms Jolie to wheel the trolley around whilst he sat in Starbucks enjoying a coffee.

However, it seems that Brad does have another reason for settling in the UK - his work.

He is all set to make a documentary about celebrated architect Frank Gehry, most famous for designing the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

From the autumn he is expected to be recording the progress of Gehry's $450 million project on the historic King Alfred site in Hove, south east England.
