Elton's Award TriumphElton JohnSir Elton John and George Michael have finally kissed and made up over dinner.

The pair fell out in spectacular fashion nine months ago, but after a good hearty meal at George's north London pad they are best pals again, reports The Mirror.

They decided to bury the hatchet after their long-running feud was sparked when Elton claimed former Wham! star George smoked too much dope.

George hit back claiming the Rocketman relied on his old hits to make money and believed everything he heard on the "gay grapevine".

From then on they barely spoke until this week.

Top celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was hired for the evening to prepare the nosh.

A pal told the paper: "They are both delighted the feud is over.

"Gordon did all the cooking and George and Elton spent much of the time creased up laughing as they reminded each other of hilarious stories from the past."

The paper also claims Elton has agreed to allow their joint 1991 hit Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me to be used on George's forthcoming album of duets.
