Just as mature - and not so mature - ladies had given up hope, George Clooney is back on the market.
The swoon-inducing actor split up from on/off girlfriend Lisa Snowdon two weeks ago - and over the PHONE no less.
The Oceans 12 star and the UK presenter/model have said that their long distance relationship was too difficult to maintain and "had nowhere to go".
A Hollywood source told The Mirror: "They have remained great friends and there is no animosity between them."
The couple last snuck in some quality time at the beginning of May, but their hectic schedules meant that they've been unable to see each other since.
The pair met in 2000 on the set of a Martini advert - very Lost In Translation - but their different locations has always been an issue, causing them to split up once before.
Lisa, 33, has never been willing to relocate to LA, claiming: "I would miss Britain too much."
Which worked for 44-year-old George, as he previously said: "She has her own life and she's very independent that way. She makes things very easy for me."
