Tom Cruise's new girlfriend Katie Holmes and British actor Christian Bale were among the stars of Batman Begins at the movie's London premiere.
Christian, who plays the young Batman in the dark thriller, was accompanied by his wife - but Katie attended without her new boyfriend.
Katie and Tom - who've been together since April - had caused a stir on the red carpet in Hollywood at the US debut last week.
Katie, 26, said on Sunday: "Being in love with Tom is so exhilarating. He's amazing and I love him very, very much."
Also at the premiere in London's Leicester Square were co-stars Sir Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman.
The film, which looks at Batman's early crime-fighting career in Gotham City, is directed by Memento's Christopher Nolan. It is released in the UK on Thursday.
