Brad & Ange Keep Their Distance

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie at the same event - but they wouldn't pose togetherBrad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are going to some lengths to avoid fuelling the chat about whether they are or have had a relationship.

The two Hollywood stars arrived for the premiere of their movie, Mr And Mrs Smith, but point blank refused to pose together.

In an attempt at a wool-pulling over our eyes routine, they tried to pretend they were strangers... but only an alien from outer space would have been fooled into believing them.

Even a hermit living in a Peruvian cave knows about the whole Angelina and Brad rumours, so really they were actually making more of a point by not posing together to promote their joint film.

Earlier in the year, they kept their distance tooOnly yesterday was Brad interviewed on American TV, where he categorically denied that Angelina had anything to do with his split from wife Jennifer Aniston.

"Did Angelina Jolie break up your marriage?" A TV interviewer asked.

"No," replied Brad, before smiling and adding: "This is like a game show - 'No'."

But when asked whether he was going out with Ange, Brad replied: "It's a good story." So that was neither a yes or a no.

On whether his marriage ended because of his desire to have kids and Jennifer's refusal, Brad got ever so narky:

"That's ridiculous. Bulls**t. Completely fabricated."

However, he seemed the very picture of positivity when he revealed how much he was enjoying this year - despite his divorce:

"It's a shake up year, a blossoming year, a year of redirection. It's very interesting."

And so it is...
