Star Trek's Patrick Stewart has played down reports of a heart scare.
The 64-year-old went to hospital from the film set of his new thriller in Manchester after complaining of feeling unwell.
But his spokesman refused to confirm reports he had suffered chest pains and was connected to an ECG heart monitor.
Neither would she comment on the nature of his medical tests or whether further exams were planned.
"He was feeling unwell at the weekend while filming. He got it checked out at the local A&E department and he is absolutely fine," she said.
"Someone's health is a fairly personal matter and he doesn't want to say anything else."
Patrick was given the all-clear by doctors at the casualty department of the Manchester Royal Infirmary.
The X-Men star has been busy filming The Eleventh Hour for some time.
