Robert: 'Val's A Great Snog'

Robert Downey Junior has confessed he enjoyed smooching Val Kilmer in their new movie Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - so much that he asked for more takes.

The actor told The Daily Mail: "His lips are pretty famous and I could name three dozen women who could tell you what it's like kissing him, but I wanted to find out for myself.

"We only had to do it twice, but I asked for a couple more takes."

Robert stars as petty crook Harry Lockhart in the murder mystery who, through bizarre chance, stumbles into a casting call and is flown to Hollywood to audition for a cop movie.

To prepare for the audition and lend authenticity to his performance, Harry is teamed with Val as private detective Perry van Shrike, known as Gay Perry for his sexual preference.

During a supposedly harmless stakeout, Harry and Perry end up the keepers of the body of a beautiful dead woman that keeps coming back to haunt them.

At the same time, Harry has an unlikely reunion with Harmony Faith Lane, played by Michelle Monaghan, his dream girl from high school, a wannabe actress in need of a private eye to look into the suspicious suicide of her sister.
