At long last, Charlotte Church's mum has given one of her daughter's boyfriends the thumbs-up.
Charlotte's dating scrummy Welsh rugby player Gavin Henson, weeks after former lover Kyle Johnson moved out of her Cardiff flat.
"I'm happy Charlotte has found someone so nice," said mum Maria. "He's fun, handsome and ambitious - what mother wouldn't like him going out with their daughter?"
Charlotte, 19, took Gavin to her step-dad James' Cardiff pub at the weekend to meet her mum.
Maria told The Sun: "Charlotte and Gavin looked really smitten and she is happy again.
"But it is early days and they are concentrating on their careers and having a good time."
Gavin, 23, tried to get a date with Charlotte a while back at a post-rugby party - but she turned him down because she was seeing Kyle.
But once the path was clear, Gavin made his move again - and this time Charlotte was pretty keen.
Charlotte was reported to have whacked Kyle at the weekend after he sold their sex secrets to a Sunday tabloid. Previous boyfriend Steve Johnson did just the same thing to the young millionairess.
