Celeb Pal Comforts Brad

George Clooney's shoulders are clearly of the broad and welcoming type as Brad Pitt turns to them to cry on.

Following the recent break up of Brad's four year marriage, George has been comforting the Troy star and even joking about the threat to his position as one of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors.

But so keen is George to see his pal sort his head out and get over his split, that he's suggested Brad takes a break, offering him his Italian villa as a free holiday destination.

The two actors are close buddies, having worked on Ocean's Eleven and more recently Ocean's Twelve together.

And just days after announcing his split from wife Jennifer Aniston, Brad flew off to Japan on a promotional trip for Ocean's Twelve, spending two days with George in the Far East.

George has been reported as saying that Brad and Jennifer are in good spirits and on good terms.

An insider told British magazine NEW, "George has been a rock to Brad. But he's been teasing him about how he's taken his place as Hollywood's oldest, most eligible bachelor.

"George has suggested to Brad that he should get away from the madness and go to Italy. He's worried about him."
