No Smoke In This Church

Ciggie-smoking singer Charlotte Church has vowed to give up nicotine to save her voice.    

The opera-turned dance star is already down from chuffing on 30-a-day to five.

But to make sure her money-making voice isn't irreparably damaged, the 18-year-old is determined to stub out the habit completely.    

A family friend told The Sun: "Charlotte has done really well.    

"In the last month she has got down to just a couple of fags a day.    

"She used to smoke like a chimney, soon she will quit completely.    

"She is very determined and now she has made her mind up, she'll do it."    

Charlotte has tried to give up smoking before under pressure from her disapproving mum, Maria.    

But maybe tut-tuts from boyfriend Kyle Johnson, 19, who also hates her smoking, will see her finally end the habit.
