Romance has taken a back seat to common sense for Britney Spears and Kevin Federline.
The multi-multi-millionaire pop star has made her new hubby sign a pre-nuptial agreement less than three days after their wedding.
Britney, 22, bowed to pressure from her family to stop dancer Kevin getting his hands on the singer's £60m fortune in the event of a split.
They feared that if the US star dumped her dancer husband, he could get as much as half her assets.
Maybe the family were acting from a little previous experience - Britney's marriage of 55 hours to Jason Alexander.
After that was annulled last January it cost her £80,000 and a Porsche, given to Jason after they married without pre-nuptials.
News of the reported deal emerged at the same time as pictures which apparently showed Kevin puffing away on a cannabis pipe.
The 26-year-old is also seen in the photos, taken before he met Britney, smiling with what looks like a joint in his mouth.
