Remote Record
Remote Record lets you send a recording request to your Sky+HD box using a smartphone or via My
Sky, perfect if you realise you want to record a show but can't get to your Sky box. To use Remote
Record, you need a Sky+HD subscription - if you're not the subscriber in your household, ask their
permission before you start.
Activate the service at
Sky.com/remoterecord and your Sky+HD box will automatically recognise the
mobile number you’ve registered with your Sky iD. If you don't have a Sky iD, you can sign up from
that page.
From 31 July 2011, the option to Remote Record by SMS will no longer be available. But you can
still use our online and smartphone options while you're out and about. Don't forget that if you
haven't registered for Remote Record before, you'll need to visit
www.sky.com/remoterecord and sign in
using your Sky iD.
If you're unsure of your details or forgotten your password, follow the Sign in link, then use
the Forgotten your username or password? links on bottom of the page. If you don't have a Sky
iD, use the Sign Up link on that page.

Can anyone else send recording requests to my Sky+HD box?
Your Sky+HD box can accept recording requests from up to eight smartphone numbers, so
everyone who has a Sky iD in your household can use the service.
Never Miss
Make sure you never miss your favourite programme again with this free email service – just
follow these steps to set your list up:
1. Sign into
Sky.com/nevermiss
with your Sky iD (or create a SkyiD on that page)
2. Find movie titles or TV series you want to watch
3. Add them to your My Notifications list
4. We'll send you an email reminder when that film or when the first episode of
the series you specified is on TV – even if that's months after you set the reminder.

How many programmes/films does the Never Miss service include?
Nearly all UK cinema releases plus a huge selection of international films and art house
cinema are included, plus 450 seasons of 80 series selected from all the channels broadcast on Sky.
We’re adding more all the time, so you're bound to find something you want to watch.
How can I view my notification requests?
All your requests are displayed in the My Notifications list, and you can remove them
from your list if you watch the content or change your mind.
How will you notify me?
If a programme or film on your list is scheduled to be broadcast, we will send you an email
and the Never Miss buttons will change to 'On this week'. Use these buttons to see details for the
programmes, including alternative broadcast dates and send Remote Record requests to your Sky+HD
planner.
How many titles can I add to my list?
Feel free to add as many titles as you want!
I can’t find my favourite series – can I ask you to add it?
Yes, we welcome your input! We're regularly adding brand new series and the most popular
titles (whichever channel they are on), including classic shows and favourites that are returning
to your screens. If you want to see a particular show added to our list, you can submit a series
title at the end of the series search results - we will add the series that get the most
requests.
