What's the best broadband for me?
We’ve got the best broadband choices for everyone, including free Sky Broadband Lite, for light browsing and email, and Sky Broadband Unlimited, for unlimited internet speeds. Sky Fibre Unlimited customers can enjoy superfast downloading or uploading, perfect for busy homes with a lot of people online at the same time, surfing, online gaming or streaming HD movies.
What is Sky's broadband internet usage policy?
There are no usage limits for Sky Broadband Unlimited or Sky Fibre Unlimited customers. Sky Broadband Lite customers receive an email when they are over their usage allowance.

How long will it take for my line to go active?
Once you have ordered Sky Broadband and Talk, if you don’t need an engineer to install a line, it will normally take up to 15 days for your broadband to go active. If you do need an engineer, your internet will usually be activated on the day the engineer installs your phone line. We'll send you a letter (or, if you have provided us with an email address, an email) to welcome you to Sky Broadband, followed by confirmation of your line activation date. Your Sky Hub will be delivered and you can get started.
How do I find out about broadband speeds?
We'll never slow your internet speeds down, even at peak times, if you’re in a Sky Broadband network area. To find out more about speeds, visit our broadband speeds page.
Can I keep my existing number if I switch to Sky?
If you are switching from another provider to Sky you should be able to keep your phone number, just make sure you ask to when you place your order.
