  • Switching to Sky Broadband

    Switching your broadband service to Sky is easy.

    If you have an active BT landline:

    • Use our landline checker to see which Sky Broadband and Talk products are available, and the maximum download speed your location can support
    • When you take Sky Line Rental with Sky Broadband and Talk, we could have your TV, Talk, Broadband and Line Rental up and running in just 2-3 weeks
    • When you switch your broadband, calls and line rental to Sky, there's no need to contact your existing provider. We'll manage the switching for you, and you should be able to keep your existing phone number


    If you have a Virgin landline, or don't have an active BT landline:

    • You will need to take a Sky phone line to purchase Sky Broadband and Talk products (set-up fee may apply)
    • We may need to arrange for an engineer visit to install a new Sky phone line at your property as part of the checkout process
    • If you take a new phone number for your Sky phone line then we may be able to get your new line up and running more quickly
