Sky Talk Line Rental


How to get Sky Talk Line Rental


Sky Talk Line Rental is exclusively available to Sky TV customers with a Sky Talk package and a BT compatible line. New Sky customers who don't currently have a BT compatible line may be able to get one installed through Sky. Please call 08442 411 076 for details.


If you are a new Sky TV customer and subscribe to Sky Talk Line Rental and a Sky Talk calls package and you don't have an existing BT line, we can arrange installation of a new line. We will inform you of the installation charge when you place your Sky TV and Sky Talk order. If you miss or cancel your appointment without giving us at least 3 days notice, you will lose your install fee and we may make a further charge to cover any additional costs we incur.


Sky TV customers can add Sky Talk Line Rental when they purchase either Sky Talk Freetime or Sky Talk Unlimited.


Or, if you already have Sky Talk, you can add Sky Talk Line Rental to your account online.


Don't have Sky TV yet? You can choose Sky Talk Line Rental plus your Sky Talk package and any additional features when you join online.

Calls to Sky 0844 numbers are free from Sky Talk landlines within customers’ inclusive call time from Sky Talk. Calls to Sky 0844 numbers cost 5p per minute plus a 8p connection fee for BT customers. Calls from other providers may vary.

1 UK calls are to 01, 02 & 03 numbers only. 'Free' and 'unlimited' calls last up to an hour, after which 4.5p per minute rates apply for UK calls and Sky Talk standard international rates apply, or you can hang up and redial as often as you like. Unlimited international landline calls to 20 countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and USA and calls to international mobiles in Canada and USA. 2 Line rental from BT costs £12.50 a month for customers who pay by direct debit and receive paper billing (£11.25 with paperless billing). Sky Talk customers can request paper billing at no extra cost.

3 Calls to 118SKY cost 18.75p per minute (plus a 51.75p connection charge) for Sky Talk customers calling from their Sky Talk landline. From BT landlines calls cost 25p per minute (plus a 69p connection charge). Calls from other providers may vary. Sky Customer Services 08442 41 41 41.

Sky Talk: From 01.09.09 the price of Sky Talk Line Rental will increase to £11 per month. 12 month minimum term applies to new Sky Talk customers and to existing customers taking up Sky Talk Line Rental. Sky Talk is only available to Sky digital subscribers paying by Direct Debit/continuous credit card mandate. Calls only packages not available to BT line rental customers with BT Basics or if outgoing calls are barred. Compatible BT line required for Sky Talk line rental. Codes of Practice for sales and marketing and premium rate/NTS services can be found at sky.com/skytalk.
