How do I get a Sky iD?

You might have one already! If you bought Sky Broadband, your username is the first part of your Sky Email address - your username@sky.com. If you haven't used your Sky Email recently and cannot remember the address, just visit My Sky and follow the "Forgot username?" link in the Sign in to My Sky section to get a reminder.

Register for a new Sky iD

If you don’t already have one, it's easy to register for your Sky iD, and should only take a few minutes. Visit our Create your Sky iD page. On the form, enter your name and current email address, choose a Sky iD username and password and type in the letters shown in the verification image.

  1. What information will I need to provide to register for my Sky iD?
Your name - which will be used on your account.
Your current email address - so we can confirm your registration.
Your date of birth and the answer to a security question - so we can verify your identity if you forget your username or password and ask for a reminder.

If you're a Sky customer, we'll ask for your viewing card number or the last six digits of your payment account so we can link your billing account to your Sky iD.

If you're not a Sky customer you can still register for a Sky iD and enjoy Sky Player, Sky Games and personalised TV Recommendations.

If you live in a household with Sky but are not the bill payer, you can still register for a Sky iD and enjoy Sky Player, Remote Record, Sky Games, personalised TV Recommendations and Sky Email and Tools.
