How to get started with Sky Songs

Sky Songs is a brand new service from Sky that lets you play or 'stream' music online, as well as download albums and individual songs at great value prices. There are millions of songs to choose from and you can explore them all with our recommended playlists, artist guides and charts. Sky Songs also allows you to collect the songs you love in your own playlists to share with friends and listen to whenever you want!

Sky Songs is also a subscription service with the bonus of free songs or free streaming for every month you subscribe. There are two packages on offer with Sky Songs: £6.49 per month for 10 credits or £7.99 per month for 15 credits.

It's really easy to get started with Sky Songs - all you need to do is register a few personal details on our Sky Songs website, which we need to keep the website secure. If you have a Sky registration already - maybe you have our Sky Player or another subscription service - then you can keep your user name and password and don't need to register again.

How do I make a start?`
Whether you've just subscribed or are simply browsing our pages welcome ! If you're not familiar with the site here are a couple of tips to help you get started enjoying the service. Near the top of the Home page you will see tabs labeled 'Welcome', 'Sky Songs' and 'Your-own-name Songs'. Click on 'Sky Songs' and headers for Radio Stations, Our Playlists, and Featured Artists and Albums will be shown. Click on any one of these that takes your fancy, say Radio Stations ... scroll sideways through the listing ... simply click on the station that appeals and relevant music will start. Feel like some reggae? Click again. You can search ideas in the lower half of the page too, tabs for Artists, Genres and Playlists can be seen ... browse through the suggestions and simply see and play what tempts.

Maybe there's an artist you've just heard whilst streaming and you'd like to know more. Type their name in the search box and see the music that's suggested. By now you should be ready to add some music to your own favourites too - click the heart icon alongside any artist, album or song and it will automatically move into the relevant favourite in the 'Your-own-name Songs' tab we mentioned above ... click there and see. Now try and create and play some playlists of your own ... see, it's easy. Enjoy!
