Playing Sky Games

To download a game, go here and click Play by the image of the game you want. If this is the first game you've downloaded, you'll be asked whether to open or save the file Click the 'Open' button to proceed. A short installation procedure will run automatically on your computer.

If you've already installed a game, a new window with the image of the game and up to date progress will be displayed.

After your installation is complete a shortcut icon will appear on your desktop. Double click the icon and you'll be asked to sign in using your Sky Games account username and password. Once signed in, you can start playing and having fun.

  1. How long can I play my downloaded game for?
    As a Join & Play subscriber, you can download and install any game from the Join & Play catalogue and play it for as long as your subscription remains valid.
  2. Why is my favourite game no longer in the catalogue?
    From time to time, Sky Games may remove certain games from the Join & Play catalogue. If you have already downloaded and installed a game however, it will continue to work as before as long as your Join & Play subscription remains valid.
  3. I need help with a game, where do I get that?
    There will be a link to game support in the Readme manual or listed in your computers Start Menu with the game title.
  4. Do I need to be connected to the Internet to play a game?
    You must be online to subscribe to Sky Games and download your games, but once you're a subscriber you don't always have to be online to play a game. You can play for up to 7 days before logging in again.
  5. What are the system requirements for a game?
    Each game has its own requirements. Click on the 'Info' link displayed by each game to see its System Requirements. Some games require DirectX, a software package from Microsoft. To install DirectX, visit Microsoft's website and follow the instructions. Downloading DirectX from Microsoft's own website is unlikely to be damaging to your computer but please note that you download software from the Internet at your own risk.
