Sky Ticker is easy to use, and you can choose from a variety of news stories. Whether you like to read the latest showbiz and entertainment gossip, a pick of the sports results or current affairs headlines as the stories break, you can configure Sky Ticker to show you the news you want.

To access the Preferences menu, select Options in the Sky Ticker Tool Bar (the collection of icons appearing next to the search box). Using your mouse, hover your screen pointer over a button to see a pop-up balloon telling you what it does.

 · Reduce the number of Days or Hours.
You can also adjust the frequency at which Sky Ticker checks for new updates in the Feeds tab of the Options pop-up.
