Got all the right stuff?

Congratulations on joining Sky Broadband. You've already checked to make sure your computer meets the minimum specifications and now we need to make sure you know what we will send you in order to get you up and running on the internet.

Activation Date
Your Broadband should be up and running by 10pm on the activation date, but in some cases, it can take up to three days longer.

When your Sky Broadband goes live, we will leave a message on your mobile phone or home phone. Don't worry, if there are any problems activating your line, we will contact you to let you know.

Sky iD

When you join Sky Broadband, we create a Sky iD username and password just for you. You will not need your Sky iD to connect to the net, but you will need it to access your Sky Email & Tools, and your My Sky account.

If you are new to Sky, we will send your Sky iD details in a letter. You should change the password we send to something that is easier for you to remember.

If you have been with Sky for a while before you ordered Sky Broadband, you may already have signed up for a Sky iD.

If you have already signed up you can continue to use your existing username and password. If you have forgotten either your username, you can easily get it sent to your email. If you've forgotten your password, you can reset. You can do all this through the Sky iD sign-in page.
