Sky Anytime+ is our TV on demand service, which brings you a whole world of entertainment that's ready to watch whenever you want. And it's now available with any broadband provider. Once you've activated and connected your compatible Sky+ box to any broadband router, you can take your pick from a wide range of catch-up TV, series box sets and more. If you're a Sky Movies customer, you can enjoy hundreds of movies on demand. You can also rent movies instantly from our brand new Sky Store, where there's even more on offer, whatever package you have.

And if you have Sky Movies 1 & 2, catch all the latest premieres including Super 8, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger and Kung Fu Panda 2. With so much to choose from, we’ve also made it easy to find something to suit your mood.  You can use the genre tabs, search by channel and - if you know what you’re looking for - choose through the A-Z.  Or just head for Showcase where you can see our pick of the week’s best TV.

Anytime+

Compatible Sky+ box with a fast enough broadband connection, Sky TV and Anytime+ activation required.  Downloads count towards any usage caps. Free wired standard set up for new Sky+HD customers (not available with self set up) or £40 (£60 wireless). Can be set up by customer using own cable. 

 

Content depends on your Sky TV/HD subscription. Sky Store costs extra. Sky Movies 1&2 or Sky Sports 1&2 are needed to watch Sky Movies or Sky Sports. HD shows take longer to start viewing.

Packages £20-£53 per month (pm).


HD availablity
HD channels received depend on your Sky TV subscription. Channel 4 HD, BBC HD, BBC One HD, ITV1 HD, Channel 5 HD and NHK World HD are available without subscription. Channel 4 HD and Channel 5 HD require a viewing card. ITV1 HD is only available in England and Wales.

Sky boxes and set-up

Set-up costs
Standard set-up of Sky+HD box with the HD Pack is free when you join Sky TV online (otherwise £30); free for existing customers with a new Multiroom subscription (otherwise £60 or £15 for Sky+ customers selecting self set-up).


Existing Sky TV customers
Sky Broadband set-up fees for existing Sky TV customers £60 for Everyday Lite, £30 for Connect or free for Unlimited. £30 set-up fee for Connect for customers without Sky TV.


Self set-up
Available to Sky+ customers for £15. Self set-up must be completed within 31 days of receipt.

 

SkyHD box
First box free for new and existing customers when taken with a new Sky Multiroom subscription and paying for set-up. Limited to one free box per household (and not available to customers who have already received a free standard box) otherwise £49. Replacement boxes are £99.


Sky+ box
Existing Sky+ box households are not eligible for a discounted box. Existing customers must agree to new 12 month minimum term for Sky TV. One free/discounted box per household.  Sky+ box up to £199 if you are not eligible for discounted price (Sky TV subscription required). You will receive a Sky+HD box which has all the features of Sky+.  A Sky+ box can store an average of 185 hours of standard definition programmes. To view free-to-air HD content you need a HD ready TV. To view Sky HD content you will also need the HD Pack for £10.25 a month.

Sky+HD box
Existing Sky+ box households are not eligible for a discounted box unless taking the HD Pack.  Existing customers must agree to new 12 month minimum term for Sky TV. One free/discounted box per household.  Sky+HD box up to £199 if you are not eligible for discounted price (Sky TV subscription required). A Sky+HD box can store an average of 60 hours of HD or 185 hours of standard definition programmes. HD ready TV required.

Sky+HD 1TB box
£99 for Sky TV customers taking their first HD package (£10.25pm) or existing Sky+HD customers adding Sky Multiroom (£10.25pm per box). Existing Sky+HD customers are entitled to one £149 box, additional boxes £249. New customers are entitled to one £149 box when taking with HD pack, any additional boxes thereafter or when taking without the HD Pack are £249. Standard set-up £30 for new customers and £60 for existing Sky TV customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra.


General

Sky subscription and boxes: Subject to status. Upfront payment may be required. 12 month minimum subscriptions. Non-standard set-up may cost extra.  Boxes must be connected to a fixed telephone line and prices may vary if you live in a flat. Sky+ functionality requires two satellite feeds. You must get any consents required (e.g. landlord's). Prices for Direct Debit payments only. 

Continuous debit/credit card mandate costs 50p pm. UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residential customers only.  These offers are not available with any other offers.  Further terms apply. Calls to Sky cost 5.1p per minute (plus 13.1p connection fee) for BT customers.  Calls from other providers may vary. Correct at 18 May 2012.
