Sky TV
Sky TV Subscription
Packages £20-£53 per month (pm).
HD availablity
HD channels received depend on your Sky TV subscription. Channel 4 HD, BBC HD, BBC One HD, ITV1 HD, Channel 5 HD and NHK World HD are available without subscription. Channel 4 HD and Channel 5 HD require a viewing card. ITV1 HD is only available in England and Wales.
Sky boxes and set-up
Set-up costs
Standard set-up of Sky+HD box with the HD Pack is free when you join Sky TV online (otherwise £30); free for existing customers with a new Multiroom subscription (otherwise £60 or £15 for Sky+ customers selecting self set-up).
Existing Sky TV customers
Sky Broadband set-up fees for existing Sky TV customers £60 for Everyday Lite, £30 for Connect or free for Unlimited. £30 set-up fee for Connect for customers without Sky TV.
Self set-up
Available to Sky+ customers for £15. Self set-up must be completed within 31 days of receipt.
SkyHD box
First box free for new and existing customers when taken with a new Sky Multiroom subscription and paying for set-up. Limited to one free box per household (and not available to customers who have already received a free standard box) otherwise £49. Replacement boxes are £99.
Sky+ box
Existing Sky+ box households are not eligible for a discounted box. Existing customers must agree to new 12 month minimum term for Sky TV. One free/discounted box per household. Sky+ box up to £199 if you are not eligible for discounted price (Sky TV subscription required). You will receive a Sky+HD box which has all the features of Sky+. A Sky+ box can store an average of 185 hours of standard definition programmes. To view free-to-air HD content you need a HD ready TV. To view Sky HD content you will also need the HD Pack for £10.25 a month.
Sky+HD box
Existing Sky+ box households are not eligible for a discounted box unless taking the HD Pack. Existing customers must agree to new 12 month minimum term for Sky TV. One free/discounted box per household. Sky+HD box up to £199 if you are not eligible for discounted price (Sky TV subscription required). A Sky+HD box can store an average of 60 hours of HD or 185 hours of standard definition programmes. HD ready TV required.
Sky+HD 1TB box
£99 for Sky TV customers taking their first HD package (£10.25pm) or existing Sky+HD customers adding Sky Multiroom (£10.25pm per box). Existing Sky+HD customers are entitled to one £149 box, additional boxes £249. New customers are entitled to one £149 box when taking with HD pack, any additional boxes thereafter or when taking without the HD Pack are £249. Standard set-up £30 for new customers and £60 for existing Sky TV customers. Non-standard set-up may cost extra.
Sky Broadband
Sky Broadband in Sky Network Area: Existing customer set-up £60 for Everyday Lite or free for Unlimited. Monthly usage caps: Everyday Lite - 2GB. Maximum upload speed: Everyday Lite and Unlimited – 1.3Mb.
Sky Broadband outside Network area: Connect at £17pm. Existing customer set-up £30. Monthly usage caps: Connect – 40GB & subject to Network Management Policy. Maximum upload speed: Connect – 448Kb.
Sky Fibre Unlimited: Availability subject to location and survey. £50 standard set-up. Not available to existing fibre customers except cable.
WiFi Hotspots from The Cloud: For Sky Broadband Unlimited/Connect/Unlimited Fibre customers. Available on 6 registered devices. Experience varies by location and number of users. App available for Apple devices with iOS 4.2.1 or later and compatible Android devices with OS2.1-2.x and 4.x.
Sky Broadband general: £2.18 router delivery charge applies. Speeds vary significantly by location. No traffic management policy for Sky Broadband Unlimited and Sky Fibre Unlimited. External factors such as internet congestion can affect speed. See sky.com for more details and our Usage Policies. MAC users receive 12 months free McAfee VirusScan worth £19.99. McAfee Free Trial: Everyday Lite-3 months, Unlimited and Fibre Unlimited -12 months, then £3 pm unless you contact us to unsubscribe.
30 day Broadband and Talk Satisfaction Guarantee: Available within the first 30 days of all your services being activated. Refund applies to subscription charges only (not set-up charges or non-inclusive call charges) and is pro-rated. Statutory rights are not affected. Not applicable if you change your package.
Sky Talk
12 month minimum term applies to new Sky Talk customers and to existing customers taking up Sky Line Rental. Sky Talk is only available to customers paying by Direct Debit/continuous credit card mandate. Calls only packages not available to BT line rental customers with BT Basics or if outgoing calls are barred. Sky Line Rental required (£12.25 per month). Connection charge from £39 may apply for customers without an active BT compatible line. Codes of Practice for sales and marketing and premium rate/NTS services can be found at sky.com/skytalk
Calls to UK landlines on evenings and weekends of up to an hour to 01,02,03 & 0870 numbers only (excludes Channel Islands, indirect access and dial-up internet numbers). Max price for 08 numbers is 10.2per minute with 12.5p connection. Max price for 070 numbers is 49p per minute, with 52p connection. See Sky.com/call pricing for tariffs. Acceptable use Policy applies. Minimum terms apply.
Sky Go
UK/Ireland only. Streamed via broadband/3G (charges may apply). Available on 2 registered compatible devices (content may vary). Some live TV programmes unavailable.
iPhone (3GS or above), iPad, iPod touch (4th gen. or above) require iOS 4.3 or later and Sky Go app. Sky on your Xbox 360 requires Xbox Gold Live subscription.
Selected HTC and Samsung smartphones require OS2.2x or 2.3x.
Sky TV Customers
Live TV and on demand content available in line with your Sky TV subscription at no extra cost. Sky Movies 1&2 or Sky Sports 1&2 packs required for on demand Sky Movies or Sky Sports. Sky TV packages £20-£53/€25-€76 per month. ESPN costs extra.
Non-Sky TV Customers
Subscriptions £15-£40/€18-55 per month. ESPN £9-£12/€12-16 p/m extra (or standalone at £16/€20 p/m). Monthly subscriptions renew automatically until you unsubscribe.
Anytime+
Compatible Sky+ box with a fast enough broadband connection, Sky TV and Anytime+ activation required. Downloads count towards any usage caps. Free wired standard set up for new Sky+HD customers (not available with self set up) or £40 (£60 wireless). Can be set up by customer using own cable.
Content depends on your Sky TV/HD subscription. Sky Store costs extra. Sky Movies 1&2 or Sky Sports 1&2 are needed to watch Sky Movies or Sky Sports. HD shows take longer to start viewing.
Sky+ and Remote Record
To set up a Series Link from the Sky+ app or TV Guide online, a programme must be part of a series and a compatible black Sky+HD box is required.
Recording requests can be made via sky.com or using a compatible smartphone/tablet (uses 3G/Wi-Fi) with Sky+ app installed. Requests require up to 30 minutes notice before start of programme.

Sky 3D
3D TV and Sky World HD subscription required. Sky World HD means Entertainment Extra, the Movies and Sports Packs and the HD Pack (£63.25 a month). PPV means this programme will incur a charge.
General
Sky subscription and boxes: Subject to status. Upfront payment may be required. 12 month minimum subscriptions. Non-standard set-up may cost extra. Boxes must be connected to a fixed telephone line and prices may vary if you live in a flat. Sky+ functionality requires two satellite feeds. You must get any consents required (e.g. landlord's). Prices for Direct Debit payments only.
Continuous debit/credit card mandate costs 50p pm. UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residential customers only. These offers are not available with any other offers. Further terms apply.
