Warm up those vocal cords and let your inner geek stand tall. The third season of
Glee is nearly upon us, and what’s more, it's coming exclusively to Sky1 HD.
From Thursday 22 September at 9PM, you'll find out what's next for Mr Schue, Sue Sylvester,
Rachel, Quinn and the rest of the McKinley High crew. Could there be slushy attacks? Glitter bombs?
Songs from the 1980s? We couldn’t possibly say, but we do know it will be mighty fine
entertainment.
Don’t forget, with season 3 you’ll be able to see how the winners of
The
Glee Project got on. If you haven’t been following,
The Glee Project is an open talent competition where the prize is a guest star role in
Glee's new season. It’s also exclusive to Sky1 HD.
Unbelievably, a whopping 40,000 people from around the globe applied to
The
Glee Project. They were whittled down to just 12 finalists during the opening episode. One
was eliminated every week after performing for a judging panel including casting director Robert
Ulrich, choreographer Zach Woodlee and songwriter Nikki Anders, as well as weekly guest stars from
the cast.
But will talent show success convert to
Glee guest star gold? All will be revealed in episode four.
Be proud
Gleeks; remember you’re not alone. In its past two seasons, the show has notched up 19 Emmy®
award nominations, winning four, while songs by the cast have seen 16 million downloads from the
iTunes chart. And it’s singlehandedly revived the fortunes of 1980s middle-of-the-road rockers
Journey. That’s no mean feat.
So, hold on to that feeling and look out for the shiny new
Glee on Sky1 HD later this month.
