Shanaze Reade
Schools get set to back British cyclists

2 May 2012

It’s going to be a great summer for the British Cycling Team. So as they prepare for victory, we’ve launched a schools competition to wish them well.

We’re looking for school students to create brilliant works of art with good luck messages for Sir Chris Hoy, Bradley Wiggins, Shanaze Reade and the rest of the riders. It could be postcards, paintings, drawings, even photography or video. It just needs to be something to warm the hearts and minds of our favourite pedal pushers as they saddle up for success later this year.

The winner’s class could win a trip to the National Cycling Centre to meet BMX champion Shanaze Reade and even try out the incredible BMX track. And there are loads of other amazing goodies and prizes to be won.

We’ve got plenty of resources to help teachers introduce the competition into lessons or art club projects as needed.

To find out more about this competition, including how to enter, visit the Schools Competition section of the Sky Ride website.
