Great news for Android users stuck on sports, mad about movies or devoted to drama. The Sky Go
app is now ready to download from the Android Market.
We’ve just made our award-winning app available for Android’s most popular handsets, including
those in the HTC Desire and Incredible ranges, as well as Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
If you use one of these devices, you’ll now be able to enjoy five Sky Sports channels, ESPN, Sky
News and 11 Sky Movies channels, depending on your Sky subscription. There’s also great
entertainment from Sky Atlantic, plus recent additions Sky Living, Sky 1 and Sky Arts 1.
And then get your engines revved up for our hot new motor racing channel, Sky Sports F1™
channel, coming to Sky Go in March.
UPDATE --
Sky Go app now available on the HTC Sensation XE
23 February 2012
Earlier this week, we launched Sky Go on Android across a selection of the most popular Android
handsets.
And today we’ve just extended our roll out of the app to the
HTC Sensation XE and
Samsung Galaxy S2 (GT-i9100P).
Furthermore, we’re working hard to make Sky Go available on more Android handsets, so that even
more of you can enjoy your Sky TV on the go. That’s great movies, sport and entertainment wherever
you are, at no extra charge. Download it from
the Android Market now.
